The Cave Skatepark

The premier skatepark in Bangalore, meticulously crafted by the Holystoked Collective, stands as a must-visit destination for skate enthusiasts. Renowned for its impeccably smooth concrete, this killer park caters predominantly to park rippers, boasting a layout that comprises an impressive 98% transition. Local shredders, including Shake, Khadir, and Mahin, showcase their skills by effortlessly grinding quarter pipes adorned with super slick coping, executing stylish transfers over a spine, and slashing the towering vert quarter pipe.

Almost slipped my mind! You might be curious about the remaining 2% of our skatepark in Bangalore. Well, brace yourself, because, in a stroke of genius by our master builders, we've introduced an exhilarating feature to keep street skaters on their toes – a sleek ledge! Get ready for some serious fun, street skaters! Whether you're into sliding or grinding, this marble ledge is here to amp up your experience. While the OGs soar through the air, executing impressive airs above, you can carve out your own space on this exciting addition to our Bangalore skatepark. Woohooo! Hahaha! No more worries about being a tranny granny – just pure, quality time on the ledge awaits!

“The Cave” skatepark is always well maintained and is insanely fun to skate, chill and hang out with some of the best people and enjoy!

Play Arena

The skatepark at Play Arena transforms into a gladiator's arena each year, playing host to the prestigious annual skateboarding event, "Jugaad," for an impressive four consecutive years. Drawing parallels to the grandeur of a gladiator's stadium, this space boasts a plethora of obstacles and ample room to accommodate hordes of skateboarders proudly representing their home states and countries.

As you step into the skatepark in Bangalore, your eyes will be drawn to a colossal "mountain" of a bank situated on the opposite side of the entrance. This towering roll-in/bank not only stands tall but propels riders with incredible speed as they roll down its slope. The velocity achieved on this feature is so remarkable that participants have executed ollies over 15+ boards, racing down the incline during the exhilarating longest ollie contest.

To the left of the expansive quarter pipe at the Bangalore skatepark, you'll encounter two distinctive bowls. One is characterized by its extreme depth and challenging features, boasting both shallow and deep sections. This bowl is equipped with authentic pool coping, providing an exhilarating experience for seasoned skateboarders. Adjacent to it is a smaller bowl, designed to be more beginner-friendly with a consistent depth throughout, also featuring proper pool coping for an authentic ride.

Proto Village, located on the outskirts of Bangalore city in the state of Andhra Pradesh, is a unique and innovative mini-town. Aptly named for its aspiration to be a living prototype of a fully functional, self-sustainable, and ever-progressing village, Proto Village goes beyond the ordinary. While it boasts traditional features like fields, cows, chickens, goats, and a tractor, what sets it apart is its commitment to sustainability and modern amenities.

I believe that the distinctive quirks of the skatepark contribute to its uniqueness and enhance the overall skateboarding experience. Starting the description of the Bangalore skatepark, I'd like to highlight the round bowl, resembling half of a cereal bowl. Unlike conventional designs that involve excavation, this bowl is constructed entirely above the surface, featuring metal coping and a seamless concrete transition. Dropping in from the adjacent quarter pipe next to the "Cereal" bowl seamlessly leads you to the central section of this one-of-a-kind skatepark.

Located at the heart of the skatepark in Bangalore, your first challenge awaits at the central point – a multi-obstacle featuring a manual pad, double-sided ledge, and a bank-to-bank setup. Flanking this obstacle are a small square rail on one side and a speed bump on the opposite edge. Once you navigate through this central section, a spacious bank stretching from one end of the park to the other comes into view. Noteworthy features include a pint-sized built-in quarter pipe, perfect for catching some air, and a ledge atop it, doubling as a bank-to-ledge for your slides and grinds.
