Sagar comes from the streets of Dharavi andhas been skateboarding for more than ten years. Being among thefirst-generation skateboarders in India, he has been skateboarding since almostthe beginning of the time skateboarding started in India. Even though theinception of skateboarding in India began in Bangalore, because of Sagar’spassion along with his buddies, today many people in Mumbai have pursuedskateboarding as either a true passion or in some cases even as a careerchoice. Sagar has also gone to India and represented the country in the WorldSkateboarding Championship at China in 2019.

Urmila got into skateboarding barely 6years ago and has already set an impression in the entire community. She haswon the podium for the second place in the 2022 Gujarat National Games, as wellas been selected to represent India in the World Skateboarding Championship in2023 earlier this year which was held at Sharjah. Currently Urmila has beenselected for the Asian Games which will be held again in China and berepresenting India there, where for the first time in history, there is askateboarding team selected for the Asian Games. Urmila comes from Navi Mumbaiand has been pushing her skills ever since she decided she aspires to makeskateboarding a mainstream sport among girls in India.

Like Urmila, Dev has been skateboardingsince a few years now, however his skills have shown the progression that anytrue skateboarder needs in India. From barely learning to Ollie, to the currentform and steez he has, the young lad shows a big promise to the skateboardingcommunity in India. Dev comes from Pune and has been pushing his skills inskateboarding ever since he has been pushing the game for his own personaldevelopment. Not only is skateboarding teaching him the way to become better,it also plays an integral role in his personal life to learn how to grow.

Arun is officially the first skateboarderfrom Jammu who has dedicated his life and passion to skateboarding. He isconstantly pushing to learn more and more in skateboarding and has decided togrow the sport rapidly in his state. Before Arun, skateboarding was as good asan alien sport/lifestyle choice in Jammu, but after representing his state inalmost all National Level Competitions, his friends, family and teachers haveseen how skateboarding can hold a critical position in Jammu as well. With atrue passion for skateboarding, Arun wants to make it easily accessible foranyone in his state to pursue skateboarding and make it a regular daily affairin his state.
